About Us
Hi! I’m Amanda and the founder of AJ Swimsuits, a small business in Portland, OR. I started making these suits last summer, initially to pay off my doggy emergency vet bills, but it has since become one of my favorite activities.
When starting my brand it was crucial for me to be size inclusive as well as sustainable. I offer sizes XS-XXL and am proud to say each suit is zero waste!
Sustainability
The fashion industry is a huge contributor to global warming, CO2 emissions, human labor abuse, and so much more. By creating a small batch, custom made line, I hope to reduce emissions. I provide compostable mailers and reuse all my fabric waste. I’m working in transitioning to recycled fabric as well!
